Extra Heavy Star 2 1/8"

This Xxtra Heavy 2 1/8" Star Copper Cutter was designed to meet the needs of a customer who cuts out 1/4" clay ornaments.

She needed a strong cutter that would hold shape, have total access for extraction and leave no cutter joint markings in the clay.

First the star cutter is made from pure 20 oz copper which is 25% heavier than the normal cutter stock and a no seam conection was made to prevent marks on the clay.

Then the 20oz star cutter was soldered inside a reinforded back plate leaving full access for remaval of the cut out star. This locks in the shape of the star and prevents distortion with heavy use.
